Managing Commitments

A Commitment is a donation that automatically reoccurs on a set schedule, including weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, or annual.

Commitments records can be viewed or managed on behalf of donors within the Finance

Commitments tab.

Within the Commitments tab, you may do the following:

  1. Actions: To view or manage a donor's commitment, hover over the donor's name then click Actions. You will then be able to select one of the following:

    1. View : Click View to review the details associated with a donor's recurring commitment.
    2. Edit: Click Edit to adjust the donor's details, donation amount, withdrawal schedule, or update payment method.
    3. Deactivate: Cancels the recurring commitment effective immediately. Note: Cancelling a commitment does not cancel a donation that has already been withdrawn. A void or refund will need to be issued if the commitment withdrawal was not intended by the donor.
  2. Export Export commitment data to a CSV spreadsheet that can be used for reporting.

  3. Filter Commitments can be filtered by status, start and end dates, amount, frequency, payment method, origin type, and contact details.
